Q. When I am asked to login to get access to a database, how do I verify that I am a Washburn student?
I used the Mabee library website to search for an article. However, when I tried to open the pdf file of the article, it required me to login using my "Name" and "Barcode". I do not know what to do here and what is meant by "Barcode". You clarification is appreciated.
There are two possible ways that you may be asked to authenticate your affiliation with Washburn University. Most likely you will be asked for your Washburn email address and password. You might also be asked for a barcode and your name. The barcode requested is your WIN, the number on your Washburn ID card. Enter the number only, without the "W".
